After an early & short flight we visited Abu Simbel, tomb of Ramses II.They made dams around the structures, removed water and cut them into 4,000 sections to reassemble in higher ground. All in 4 years.A little time to relax on the boat with friends.Then a visit to Kom Ombo, Temple of the Crocodile. Yes, the Nile still has crocodiles.Amazingly, some of the colors remain, even now.Imohep is one of the guys recognized here, both an architect and physician.Many mummified crocodiles. They were brought to the temple for recognition, and mummified after they died.
