We started our time in Kanazawa with a dinner focused around puffer fish – the poisonous fish that requires expert preparation to keep diners alive. Good thing, since our guide was with the four of us and his demise would have been a problem for 20 people. 😁

We had near perfect viewing of cherry blossoms in Kanazawa, in spite of clouds.
On to Kyoto now, where we’re promised 4 days of sunshine.😃
Does your tour guide carry a flag, on a stick, so everyone knows he he is?
Absolutely, but she’s so short and carries it about head level that it’s sometimes still difficult to track her. So far, so good.
