Our final island stop was Crete, home to over 30Million olive trees (some over 2,000 years old and still producing), more than all the rest of Greece combined! Some more ruins sites, and excellent food and wine. Stopped at a couple of seaside villages, too, including a 60’s hippy throwback.<\/p>\n

Also visited a pottery workshop and the Museum of Ancient Greek Technology, which was fascinating. <\/p>\n
