Had a wonderful time in Santorini, and visited Oia at one end of the island as well as a local winery (co-op of some 1200 growers, each with an acre or less). Grapes grow in small nests on the ground to conserve water, rather than the trellising we’re used to.<\/p>\n

The trip back to the ferry port was an adventure, taking about 2.5hrs to snake down the mountainside. Actually saw a few people leaving their bus and running downhill with suitcases to catch their ferry.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
